Awesome Skillet Lasagna II

I had been craving Lasagna all week and decided to make some in the skillet. Being that Thanksgiving

is right around the corner, making a huge pan would be wasteful. Storing any left overs, with the

anticipation of a huge feast, furthered my decision to take skillet meals to the next level.

At the grocery store I purchased:
1.  1 Jar of Prego marinara sauce
2.  1 lb of ground beef
3.  1 box flat lasagna sheets
4.  1 bag of shredded mozzarella cheese
I seasoned the ground meat with herbs and spices, before browning meat in 2 tbsp of oil. Afterwards, I
strained the meat and put aside. Next, I poured some marina sauce in the skillet. Then added some
lasagna sheets. I mixed the marinara with ground meat, added it to the pan, along with some mozzarella
shredded cheese. I repeated a layered pattern of noodle,meat sauce and mozzarella cheese until the pan
was full.
For this recipe, I decided to nix the Parmesan and Ricotta. I didn’t want an overly cheesy taste. The mozzarella melted and blended well with the sauce flavors and spices, which made it enjoyable.
A side salad, fresh steamed broccoli and bread sticks go extremely well with this dish.
