Crushed Pineapple Upside-down Cake

Today was my usual weekly visit at mom’s. I decided to make a simple dinner and do some baking. For dinner we’ll be having smothered chicken wings, yellow rice, mixed vegetables and kale greens with sweet plantains.

Dessert will be the crushed pineapple upside-down cake with vanilla icecream.

Here is how I created this yummy 😋 cake.

Crushed Pineapple Upside-down Cake

Ingredients and Plan

1 can crushed pineapple( drain juice in seperate cup and save for rest of recipe to replace water in cake mix.

1 box yellow cake mix

1/4 cup of butter

1/4 cup of brown sugar

3 brown eggs

1/2 cup maraschino cherries

1/2 cup of oil

Bundt pan

Preheat oven to 350

Melt butter and pour in pan

Sprinkle brown sugar on top of butter evenly

Add 1/2 cup of maraschino cherries

Prepare cake mix according to instructions, replacing water with the drained pineapple juice mixed with extra ounces of water to create 1 cup of liquid.Add batter to bundt pan.

Place in oven and bake according to steps for bundt size cakes. Remove from oven and let cool.

Serve with a scoop or two of vanilla icecream.
