Dollar Days Savings- Getting the Most Out Of Those Pharmacy Reward Programs

Finding great bargains has been an obsession of mine since becoming an adult over 20+ years

ago. Moving away from home and gaining some independence for me also included handling my

finances responsibly. From clipping coupons, to signing up for rewards programs, and even getting

codes online, were some of the ways , that I worked at getting needed things , while saving money.

For example, I’ve been a member of the Walgreens rewards program for over five years now. It was

awesome that even though I had moved from K.C. back to Brooklyn, my account was still active,

and there was no need to re-register. They even have merged with Duane Reade. So I get to save

there as well.

One time, I was needing to purchase laundry detergent and supplies for people with sensitive skin. So I

walked into a Duane Reade and noticed that the All free and clear liquid detergent was marked down to

$2.99 (regularly $ 7.15)a bottle with rewards savings. The other items were on sale as well so it was a

great day for me. I got $40 worth of products for $21.45.
