The holiday 2024 season is almost here and in full swing. There will be some planning of
delicious menus, shopping for the perfect gift, planning getaways to beat the winter blues and
or volunteering goods/services to help those in need.
December 25th, 2024 will mark my 51st year in this world and for the first time ever, I am not excited
about the Christmas holiday. When I think about people going without, suffering, helpless, hopeless and
the like, it truly saddens me. Also not to mention the millions of people that are sick and shut-in,
the individuals/families that have unfortunately lost someone special to them. No amount of Egg-Nog,
gift exchanging or kisses by the mistle-toe will change those facts.
However, Those of us that have been granted the ability to continue on and enjoy the blessing
more abundantly, must remember others in our deeds.

So if money is an issue this holiday season, no problem. There are many DIY projects
on www.pinterest.com and tutorials on www.youtube.com you can use to create something beautiful
and unique to be treasured always.
