Spicy-Jerk Pasta

There is nothing like preparing and cooking meals for family or friends to enjoy and love.  In fact, some      of my best dishes were created for someone special, who brought a lot of joy and inspiration into my     life. Cooking helped me to develop a skill in creating thirty minute recipes that are delicious, balanced   and nutritious.

Spicy- Jerk Pasta w/Beef Smoked Sausage

Ingredients:

2 lbs beef smoked sausage(sliced diagonally)

Red, yellow and  green peppers( sliced or cut up)- 1/2 cup each

1/2 cup  Onion ( sliced)

1 cup Parmesan cheese

1 cup Heavy cream

3 Tbsp Jerk seasoning

2 Tbsp of Cooking oil

1 Tsp of Black pepper

1 box and 1/2 of Pasta(preferably Penne or Rigatoni)

Directions-

Add 2 Tbsp of oil to heated skillet.

Cook Pasta as directed on box.

Place all peppers and onions in skillet turning often. Add sausage and Jerk seasoning. Cook for 6-8 minutes.Drain.

Rinse skillet and add heavy cream. Then Parmesan. Bring to a boil. Lower fire and add sausage , peppers and pasta. Stir periodically. Simmer for 15 minutes.  Set for 10 minutes and serve.
