A Diabetic Friendly Dinner Meal

One of the ways to help maintain a fit body , while enduring a chronic illness such as Diabetes, is to engage in healthy eating.

What better way to do so than preparing the foods you love.

I learned to cook a variety of food over the years from the influential women in my life. From Southern American to Caribbean, some Italian and even Asian dishes, my experience in the kitchen has been quite the journey.

One balanced dinner meal I cooked consisted of :

Steamed Salmon /Red Snapper Fillet

Garlic butter noodles

Butternut Squash

Green beans w/sliced Carrots

It took me up to 30 minutes to get everything cooked and I made enough to share with at least five others.

Dessert Alternative- Mixed fresh fruit salad

Cooking healthy for one is easy. Taking those same skills, time and effort to prepare a meal for those you love, makes it very worthwhile.
